Hi there - I'm editor PKT. I've noticed that you've added Andy Yerzy to a couple of lists of notable people, but please note that so far he's not made it to the Major League level, and from Wikipedia's point of view he is not notable. I've therefore had to remove him from those lists. On the other hand, Adam Loewen played several seasons in the MLB, so he's a good addition. Regards, PKT(alk) 18:19, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

User:PKT Hello. I have to disagree, unfortunately. From Wikipedia's point of view, he is indeed notable. That's why he has a Wikipedia page. If you believe that he is not notable, feel free to nominate his page for deletion. But note - your assertion that one must be a Major Leaguer to be notable is manifestly false. Subjects that do not meet the sport-specific criteria outlined in this guideline may still be notable if they meet the general notability guideline or another subject specific notability guideline. GNG is a test. In fact, it is the gold standard. And representing a national team is a test. And we have many early round draft picks who have therefore for example also been deemed notable enough to have wp pages. We have many articles of therefore notable players who have not played in the major leagues. Perhaps you did not know this. I would ask that you revert your deletions, as they were based on a manifest incorrect understanding, that one must have played in the major leagues to be wp-notable. --2603:7000:2143:8500:219C:CBA9:A16:EFFA (talk) 18:23, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
