Your edit to New York Rangers[edit]

Your recent edit to New York Rangers (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. IQ Test[edit]

Hello. The "Fast and Easy IQ Test" link you have been adding to Intelligence quotient has been removed multiple times. Please have a look at Wikipedia:External Links for a better idea of what external links are allowable on articles. In particular, the website in question is essentially unverified original research and not generally useful to readers of the article. The link will continue to be removed. If you disagree with this, I suggest taking it up on the article's talk page because continuing to add it may be considered external link spamming. -SpuriousQ 19:28, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message. My issue with it is that it is not a verifiable or official test of IQ. There are, as far as I can tell, no credible parties claiming it measures what experts term "IQ". It is quite openly a non-conventional IQ test and to me falls under original research. But again, the best place for this discussion is on the article's talk page. -SpuriousQ 22:32, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding these edits: [2],[3],[4],[5],[6],[7],[8],[9],[10]. Please stop. If you continue spamming you will be blocked from editing. -SpuriousQ 00:36, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

July 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Super Baseball 2020 has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\byoutube\.com' (link(s): http://youtube.com/watch?v=vwTRmt_9mP4) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 17:50, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Khairpur District do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here to Khairpur District was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://khairpur.wetpaint.com/page/*History#) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 16:44, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Your recent edit to Somali Canadians appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you.
