Hey

...this might not be the best idea. Right now, there's been some turmoil caused by these types of pages. May have been sent to MFD, such as Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:NerdyScienceDude/Vandalism space (2nd nomination). I think it's best to stay out of trouble and {{db-u1}} it, but it's your call. Also, you have new messages at User talk:Ale jrb :). Airplaneman 14:04, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

RE Welcome to Dead House

My edit was not vandalism. I see you have reverted your edit, though, so I guess you saw your mistake. Thanks! --MithrandirAgain (Talk!) 00:46, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

He is mindless and doesn't know how to do his job right. Ignore his warnings; they are meaningless. --216.246.160.62 (talk) 00:47, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
One more slip up and you're done. Stop reporting warning wrong users. Final warning. --216.246.160.62 (talk) 00:55, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Hello, 1234r00t. You have new messages at MithrandirAgain's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
BTW, to the IP here, I suggest you stop attacking well meaning editors. --MithrandirAgain (Talk!) 00:59, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
MuthrandirAgain, this is not MySpace; if you want to go make friends then go join a social networking site and stop defending someone else's wrong doings. --216.246.160.62 (talk) 01:01, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
You're correct. This isn't Myspace, where you can attack anyone you please. You have continually attacked a well-meaning editor (who has apologized about some of his edits.) I highly suggest you stop. --MithrandirAgain (Talk!) 01:03, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Evidently you and I differ greatly between our conception of the word attack - simply pointing out someone else's "mistake" (aka pointless revert), providing feedback and suggesting the person not make the same mistake twice, especially in a case like this where putting blame on a defective keyboard, is not an attack. I HIGHLY suggest you get coaching. Anywaysss... --216.246.160.62 (talk) 01:09, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
You would be correct, except you have not just "pointed out" his mistakes, you have repeatedly made threats about reporting him. Second, I see you've only made attack edits, and no article edits. So, what's your motive for reporting? Are you just interested in improving Wikipedia? If you are, then perhaps you should be careful about reporting someone who has already admitted his "guilt". I agree that he should be more careful, but perhaps you should to, like at this edit. Good luck! --MithrandirAgain (Talk!) 01:16, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Where in the guidelines/policies does it state you may only use Wikipedia to edit articles. Less than 60% of the edits are in article space. In regards to my comment, the truth hurts... --216.246.160.62 (talk) 01:18, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
It doesn't say anywhere that you have to make article edits, but what I am trying to find out is why you are attacking editors. And in regards to your "Apple LOL" edit, along with calling this editor a "troll" and his edits "meaningless" that is highly inappropriate. You're obviously allowed to have your opinions, but you're not allowed to use your opinions to abuse an editor. I am not complaining about your complaint about his mistake, I am complaining about you're attacking him. --MithrandirAgain (Talk!) 01:24, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

I think this IP may be bitter since I have rolled back one (or more) of his edits. Mr. R00t Leave me a Message 02:07, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

WDEFCON

Hey, I've noticed that you've been upping WDEFCON lately. It can be helpful, but may I suggest that you try Huggle as it shows Reverts Per minute. A majority of people who update that use that as a reference. For instance, if huggle reports 6 RPM, that would probably be a 4 or 5. It's a lot more useful than counting your rollbacks, because you'd have to figure out how many rollbacks in how long, at least that's how I used to do it before I had Windows ;) Pilif12p :  Yo  21:36, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

I would love to be able to run Huggle but my father has strictly stated that I may not install Wine (the only way to run it on Mac). If you know how I can on a Mac than please, tell me quickly. Igloo is working fine except for the fact that it doesn't show that. Mr. R00t Leave me a Message 21:43, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi

Can I ask why you've marked this article for speedy deletion?

It's just if you look back in the history you'll see that the article has simply suffered severe vandalism. If you revert back to around the 29 April the vandalism should be put right.

Is there another reason that you requested speedy deletion? --5 albert square (talk) 00:24, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, but when I look through the history it only shows 3 edits before I got involved. I will check it out again and possibly request protection for it. Mr. R00t Leave me a Message 01:00, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
No worries, I did think about just removing the speedy deletion template but I know that rollbackers don't put it there light heartedly so thought I would ask in case there was something I'd missed :). I'm not entirely sure that it's worthy of it's own article and it certainly needs re-written! --5 albert square (talk) 20:45, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for respecting our tender feelings... :) I thought about changing the template to CSD for unambiguous person or place. Decided that with rewriting it could be saved. May go to one of those wiki-projects that specialize in saving this type of thing. Let me know if anything like what happened with the vandalism happens again and I'll get it protected. Mr. R00t Leave me a Message 22:27, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I might add it to my list of articles to improve. I normally try to keep the list to The Bill characters and actors, EastEnders characters and actors and things to do with Edinburgh, but I'm going to make an exception in this case as I think this will be a nice easy article. I'm sure there's other schools on Wikipedia with better articles that I can use as a rough guideline! --5 albert square (talk) 22:53, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Might also want to add some sources. Mr. R00t Leave me a Message 23:15, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

Nebraska

My changes to the Nebraska Cornhuskers page are both factual and in compliance with Wikipedia standards. If you are the one indicating that Nebraska is a part of the BigTen, then you are both premature and incorrect. Until Nebraska FORMALLY ACCEPTS BigTen membership, you are both deceptive and uninformed in claiming them a part of the BigTen Conference. If you want to speculate about their accepting the invitation, please comment on ESPN, NOT on Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ycpguy82 (talkcontribs) 00:09, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Why the revert?

Can you explain why you reverted this edit? It seems helpful to me. Please note that the editor you reverted is a student newbie, and they are likely to be confused by your edit, if it is not explained on their talk. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:49, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

And more: [1][2][3]. You also gave this anon three inappropriate warnings, which seem to have scared him/her off. Your error rate is unacceptable, so please slow down. Prolog (talk) 07:46, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

Test

Hi - just a note, we cannot ignore the CSD tags that you put on your test page because they will show in an admin backlog that will never get cleared out if we leave them there. Please use preview to test, but don't leave those tags on live pages (even in your sandbox) for more than a few seconds. Thanks.  7  01:38, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Permissions

You're welcome to offer an opinion, but you must not mark requests as approved or declined because you're not an administrator. Also, please try to be more polite to people requesting permissions- remember you were in that position not very long ago. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:08, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for telling me. I was unaware of this rule. Mr. R00t Talk 00:10, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Well, by all means offer your thoughts (politely) but only admins have access to special:UserRights, so only admins should be marking requests as approved or declined. :) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:15, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
You just did it again, Root - please do not decline requests. If you feel the need to give your opinion, then yes - please do so, politely. But using the notdone template is really not a good thing here - we're being deliberately quite free giving this right out as it is even less of a big deal than the other rights, and most vaguely competent users should have it. ~ mazca talk 22:02, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Alright. Sorry. I'll be more careful. Though it would be helpful if someone would tell me what I can and cannot do. Mr. R00t Talk 23:50, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Raven

I have re-reverted the Common Raven. Please be more careful before reverting like that, as this evidently must have been a mistake. • Rabo³ • 21:23, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

You're correct. It was a mistake. Probably pressed q instead of the space bar to change diffs on Igloo. Mr. R00t Talk 21:26, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks

For the revert on my talk page! Evidently those morons haven't got bored yet! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:06, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

I was unaware that they ever got bored. Though I would suggest setting up a file or subpage to save the funnier pieces of vandalism (I do). Mr. R00t Talk 23:16, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
I've seen a few that really made me chuckle, but most are BLP violations that I wouldn't want to encourage ;). That said, you should add this one to your subpage. I first clicked that from another editor's page and spent half an hour laughing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:57, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

I have removed the speedy deletion tag from it, as it was erroneously deleted as a copyvio, which is not true at all. Please read that article's talk page. ANDROS1337 00:01, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

There is no content on the page. Please add content. Mr. R00t Talk 00:05, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Are you able to restore the article that was deleted? ANDROS1337 00:06, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
No but you can contact the deleting admin who's identity I will soon tell you :). Mr. R00t Talk 00:08, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Alexf deleted the article under G12. Mr. R00t Talk 00:14, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

BTW, I moved the article to User:Andros 1337/New Mexico State Road 448 so that you could work on it without it being subject to deletion tags. Mr. R00t Talk 00:16, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
