The Federal Empire of Yugoslavia is a federation of the Slavic countries of Bosnia and Herzogovina (and the autonomous Srpska Province), Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia (and the autonomous Vojvodina Province), and Slovenia.

Government and Politics

Yugoslavia is a decentralized federation in which most of the normal functions of government are performed by the constituent countries. Notable exceptions include the Yugoslav Armed Forces, international relations, and the federal constitution and its declaration of human rights. There are four branches of government:
