Usage[edit]

Use this template to create a list of user boxes.

This template is meant to be used with {{User:Will Pittenger/templates/User Box List Start}} and {{User:Will Pittenger/templates/User Box List End}}. Begin the table with {{User:Will Pittenger/templates/User Box List Start}}, add rows with {{User:Will Pittenger/templates/User Box List Row}}, then use {{User:Will Pittenger/templates/User Box List Start}} to end the table.


Important: If your user box uses categories, turn those off if it finds {{{No Categories}}} is non-blank. That will prevent the pages you use this template on from being placed into your categories.

Parameters[edit]

Name Purpose Default
{{{User Box Name}}} The base name of the template for the user box. Don't include the full path.
{{{User}}} See {{User:Will Pittenger/templates/Create User Box Template Link}} for more information. "Will Pittenger"
{{{Folder Group}}} See {{User:Will Pittenger/templates/Create User Box Template Link}} for more information. "User Boxes"
{{{Created By}}} Who created the box? Pass nothing if you created it. That will cause "Me" will be displayed. Otherwise, a link will be created to the user. If you did not create the box, pass only the core part of the user name. You don't need the "User:" part. The template will add that for you. "Me"
{{{Sample Code}}} Pass a sample. You really only need to pass this if you want to demonstrate parameters. "{{User:{{{User Name|Will Pittenger}}}/{{{Folder Group|User Boxes}}}/{{{User Box Name}}}"
