Thanks for the welcome! I have been meaning to create an article on Salmon Shark for some time. The existing research on it is scant, but I have been reading it for my own project. Incidentally, do you think it may be a good idea to add missing shark species to the Our articles section? Just a thought... I was unaware of the other project, but given the similarity, a merge seems appropriate and useful. Your primary concern seems to be losing the work setting up the project; I woudl suggest that far more work will be lost by delaying the merger (seeing as effort will be duplicated and resources divided). My main interest is in editing, but I don't want to foster splits and unnecessary divisiveness. I would like to support you; but frankly, I dont see any compelling reason for two shark groups. I hope you will not be terribly offended if I switch my membership to the group which was founded first.
