Hello! My name is Tatiana Maldonado, a sophomore here at Xavier University from Atlanta, Georgia. I am excited to take this class because I took Slavery and Servitude last semester and became hungry for more knowledge! I would like to continue my study focusing on human rights especially human trafficking fro my psychology research. My study focuses on how society's oversexualized nature is impacting young female's self esteem. I believe there is a strong connection of how women has been treated throughout history and society's obsession with sex is detrimental to a young females mental health.
