I am a scientist, with an MSc in Bioinformatics, and now living in Hamilton, New Zealand. My work specialises in bioinformatics and molecular biology. My work focusses on livestock genetics (primarily dairy cattle) and animal breeding. I am currently studying for a PhD at the University of Auckland.

Sequence reads article[edit]
- The article Read (biology) is a stub: could expand by discussing difference between paired-end and single-end reads.
- Could probably also mention something about Nanopore sequencing too.
NZ dairy industry[edit]

- Diglyceride acyltransferase could be expanded to include info on various milk QTL associated with the K232 mutation.

There is currently no article for this gene.Now added a stub article for this gene based on SLC37A2.- The article for SLC37A2 is almost empty too. Should copy new content from SLC37A1 over.
