XG is a Japanese girl group that debuted in 2022 under XGALX, a production company established by Simon Jakops. The group consists of seven members: Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Juria, Cocona, Maya, and Harvey. The group made their debut on March 18, 2022, with their debut single Tippy Toes.

Career[edit]

2022–present: Introduction and debut with Tippy Toes[edit]

XG's social media accounts were launched on January 25th 2022 with a short video entitled XGALX - The Beginning. The video showed a number of girls in training for the XGALX Project. This was followed by a dance performance video choreographed by Sienna Lalau and directed by Street Woman Fighter's Hyojin Choi. over the next few weeks the group posted a rap video featuring Jurin and Harvey performing a cover of Rob $tone's Chill Bill and a vocal cover video of Justin Bieber's Chill Bill, performed by Juria and Chisa. On 2 February, XG posted solo dance performance videos, with each member dancing in a different style. Notably, Hinata's performance was choreographed by Spella, Juria's was choreographed by May J Lee.

XG debuted on March 18, 2022, with the single Tippy Toes. The track was available to stream as well as purchase as a limited edition CD Box and Vinyl.
