I am an Associate Professor of Biology at a small liberal arts college. My area of expertise is General and Environmental Microbiology. I am using Wikipedia as a platform for students in my virology class to edit and write wikipedia pages about a topic related to virology (see Education Program:Alverno College/BI302 Virology (2013 Q1) for more details). I hope to have each student do a in-depth literature search on a topic they are interested in to create a very well documented and high quality article.
