The Hyundai HB20 is the third vehicle produced by Hyundai in Brazil. It is a line of four-door subcompact cars and hatchback produced by the Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai. The name "HB" stands for Hyundai Brazil; while the number "20" is the company's characterization category that includes models assembled on small or compact vehicle platforms[1] .

Performance[edit]

The Hyundai HB20 can go from 0-100 km/h in 14.9 seconds. It has an option of three or four cylinder engine and an option of 4 speed automatic or 5 speed manual gear box. The Hyundai HB20 comes with two types of engines, 1.0L and 1.6L. Both these engines have the ability run on gasoline and ethanol because all versions of HB20 are equipped with flex-fuel[2] .

Safety[edit]

The Hyundai HB20 comes equipped with dual front air bags. Rear Parking Assist System can help the driver can see everything in its path, while reversing. The HB20 also comes with ABS (Anti-lock Brake System), which makes breaking easier on slippery roads.[5]

Exterior[edit]

The wheel size and type are the only options for the exterior. These include 14” plastic wheel cover, 14" aluminum alloy wheels and wider 15" aluminum alloy wheels.[6]

Interior[edit]

The Hyundai HB20 can seat five adults and the automatic models come with a supportive armrest for the driver. The vehicle has an audio system that can play MP3 files and CD’s. The standard features that come with the Hyundai HB20 are Air conditioning, heating, Power steering (hydraulic), Electric windows and side mirror and a Trip computer. The trunk size is relatively big at 10.50 cubic feet.[7]
