Hi, I'm Pewterfish.

At work, I'm a researcher at the University of Sussex, where I specialise in Embedded Systems Networking and Safety-Critical Systems.

At home, I'm a gamer, LARPer, fencer, maker and, well, pretty much whatever people need me to be :)

Whatever I'm doing, I'm a native of Brighton & Hove, in the UK, and entirely happy to be. I'm interested in most fields of engineering, and the sciences in general: arts I'm not so hot on, but we live and learn.

• My research group does occasional consulting work for (among others) the UK Ministry of Defence

I may well make edits on the relevant pages, but I will try to be impartial where I can be and refrain from editing where I cannot.
