From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am tired of seeing my name in red when I sign my posts.  :)

The two main areas of Wikipedia that interest me most are:

  • Newly released movies - updating box office, critical reception, and plot sections. Doesn't matter what genre, whether the movie is good or bad or even of any personal interest to me.
  • The sex symbol page. This has been a jumbled, biased mess pretty much ever since it was created, and I'm making it a personal mission to turn it into a well-referenced source of information on sex symbols and their social context, rather than just a list of people Wikipedians think are hot.  :)

I'm also interested in editing the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and June Allyson pages, which are similarly messy and biased, but I need to do some reading on the subjects before I can do so.

I also tend to copyedit atrociously written articles I come across in my link-following travels that look like they could use it, normally ones dealing with popular culture.

The one Wikipedia pillar that I feel is most important is that of neutral point of view, and it is something I do my best to incorporate into all my edits.
