Old Dog Long Road Vol.2 is the second in a series of compilation volumes of recordings by Andy Irvine, released on his own label.

Each volume consists of two CDs with selections of enhanced home recordings, remastered live recordings, previously unreleased solo and collaborative studio recordings, and re-released tracks from discontinued albums.

Critical reception

Old Dog Long Road Vol.2 received positive reviews from folk music critics.

In her review for The Irish Times (19 December 2020), Siobhan Long stated: "Andy Irvine’s collection Old Dog Long Road (Vol 2) is full of gems, both minor and major. All glorious reminders of what really matters."
