About Me

• My name is Nick Johnston.
• I was born in Hamilton, New Zealand, 1986. I grew up in Paterangi, before moving into Hamilton where I have lived ever since.
• I play in several bands, post-rock band Sora Shima, pop band Dynamo Go and pop/rock band Changing Same with Matthew Bannister.
• I am a contributor on Htown Wiki, an informal wiki covering the music scene in Hamilton for the last 30 years.
• I try to actively promote Hamilton arts and culture, in particular the music scene.

My main goal is to improve the content for Hamilton. I hope to eventually get the page to the standard of some of the other major city articles in New Zealand, with detailed suburb articles. I have been seeking out photographers on Flickr who are willing to put their work on Wikimedia Commons. Very happy with some of the photos that have been offered so far.
