Grand Rapids Showcase Company Factory

The Grand Rapids Showcase Company factory is a historic factory located at 1340 Monroe Ave. NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The factory was built in 1919 by the Grand Rapids Showcase Co.[1] The company merged with a competitor in 1926 to form the Grand Rapids Store Equipment Co., which added additional buildings to the facility before going out of business in 1955.[1] The factory was purchased in 1979 by Display Pack, which operated there until 2015, when it sold the building to Franklin Partners for potential redevelopment.[2] In 2023, Franklin Partners announced it would demolish the building and replace it with two new apartment buildings.[3]
