Miles Sanders is my on-the-spot invented alias after two failures to add a new username in the wiki signup. Like Batman in one of the episodes, this then could be termed as 'possessing a cloaking device'. But do not feel afraid: my objects are none but peacable, and I am not (at least yet, God forbid) escaping pursuit of any sort. I view the English letters (classics, especially Dickens, Shakespeare, Wilde, Doyle and yet many others, as also the translated-into-English Verne) with profound and affectionate respect, and hope that others will follow, who do not, and those that do, will reinforce themselves on this lovely path. Among my recent acquisitions of an indelible and everlasting impact is a discovery of the world of Orthodoxy - the One True Faith preserved on Earth by Christ Himself ('and the gates of hell shall not prevail upon it') - of the Holy Church Fathers and their blessed writings, and an avid desire to obtain as many collected works of theirs as my modest income can permit me. Thus, theology among my interests. In music I love what I love about the soul: beauty, depth, virtue, light. The dark side, as an edifying tragedy, is also important, for it is instructive: to draw upon a paramount Soviet film, 'it gives reflection to those who are still living'. From Bach to Tiësto, from Led Zeppelin to Ravel (not to mention the whole Russian school of unmatched composers) extend my musical preferences and whatever moving and inspiring is being created, I wish to lend an ear to. So books, music, Batman - this is the shorthand of my life's zest. In what other, truly to-be-followed people created and create I invest my thought and feeling, my heart and reason, in a youthful attempt to compass the unencompassable, to embrace the unembracable - but still extract mileage which God, in so many human souls, has laid for me in store, awaiting my reception of His many gifts.
