My grandson stumped me with this question

Hello, I'm Mark and I'm a producer and consumer of social research and practice. I curate and create articles with reliable citations and from trustworthy sources - I manually check and read every online source but for books I prefer printed versions.

Before retiring, I worked on government statistics and continue to review manuscripts.

No hidden agenda here, just trying to help people get accurate, balanced, and current information. It's getting harder to decipher whether something is "misinformation" and I want to do my part whenever I have the time and knowledge. I'm hoping to learn more about using bots to make the process go faster.

I create and enhance less-edited pages:

  • Official statistics, policies, and products.
  • Refereed journals.
  • Individuals and methods that are notable but not “branded” in the pop culture.
  • Organizations and initiatives that contribute to the understanding of our society.
  • Topics relevant to the above (usually by going to those pages from “See also” on the page I was working on at the time).
