Steve Pilot (born October 9, 1980) is a German professional certified fitness coach, vegan nutritionist, public speaker, book author, entrepreneur, expert of sports medicine, and former brand ambassador for multiple health and fitness brand giants, such as Reebok and Fitbit. With 27 years of fitness experience, Steve has created a series of e-books such as Vegan for Beginners Guide by Steve Pilot[1] and Get Fit Program[2], transforming the fitness industry by introducing a results-driven vegan diet. Steve Pilot has also been featured on the covers of several fitness magazines as a vegan athlete, including Muscle & Fitness ,the Men’s Issue of Center Stage Magazine and Sunwarrior . As the current sole proprietor of Steve Pilot Fitness, he has dedicated his program to vegan nutrition and coaching.

Early Life[edit]

Steve Pilot was born on October 9, 1980 in Munich, Germany. Steve had first started lifting weights at the age of 13. Although fitness became his passion, Steve had decided to pursue engineering. He graduated with a bachelors of Engineering in 2000. After his studies, Steve felt the need to serve his country. He had come from a military background, and went on to serve the German Special Forces as part of the Fallschirmjäger airborne platoon. His service as a paratrooper in airborne operations lasted for two years. After leaving the military, Steve decided to educate himself a step further within his profession, receiving his Masters in Automotive Engineering in 2002. Later, he worked as a technical engineer taking care of brands like Aston Martin and Porsche. Steve soon realized his passion for seeing and experiencing different cultures, cuisines and people. He came to the decision to leave his profession and experience the world, allowing him to travel across 80 countries and all 7 continents. During this time Steve had accumulated an array of life experiences, training expertise, and a passion for healthy living and having an active lifestyle. In 2014, Steve settled down in Bangkok, Thailand, becoming a part of it’s fitness industry and further pursuing his passion for fitness, nutrition, and Sports Medicine.

Veganism[edit]

Advocating for animal rights, Steve Pilot has spent the past 10 years as a devout vegan. In 2010, Steve both educated himself on healthy eating and received his certification in nutrition. His beliefs stem from clean-eating, a balanced diet, and a cruelty free approach to life. As a vegan, he has posed alongside bodybuilders, trained celebrities, earned a two-time magazine cover as a vegan athlete, and has worked as a brand ambassador for numerous fitness brands and vegan franchises globally. Over the last decade, Steve has meticulously designed a fitness program around vegan and plant-based nutrition, shattering the stereotype of not being able to build muscles on a plant-based diet.

Career[edit]

With over 27 years of fitness instruction, Steve Pilot has been training with devotion and discipline throughout his life. He is well-rounded having trained in weightlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit, strength and conditioning, martial arts like Wing Chun, a Southern Chinese kung fu style of self-defence. From 2013-2018, Steve Pilot worked as a fitness model, an actor, a personal trainer, and later, a sponsored athlete for Phuket-based gym, Unit 27. In addition, Steve went on to further study Sports Medicine and worked as a professional fitness coach. Constantly striving to expand his knowledge, Steve started to practice yoga and became a master of performing handstands, which he continues to share tips for his fans on his social media. At the beginning of 2020, Steve has released two e-books of his creation, Vegan for Beginners Guide[1] and Get Fit Program[2], both available on Amazon. All together, his immense knowledge and experience has resulted in the creation of Steve Pilot Fitness, Steve’s fitness empire where he currently trains as a fitness coach.
