LaShonda Maria Corder born May 21,1974, is an African American playwright, director, actor and singer. Born in Detroit, MI. Raised in Columbus, MS. LaShonda is best known for her affiliations with Robin Givens. She serves as Assistant Director for Givens’ touring production “Joy in the Morning” and is now Director of Music for Stephanie Grace Healing Arts Sanctuary. LaShonda currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama, where she performs locally, is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority Inc., and is the proud single parent mother of Miss. Star Corder and Mr. Nazareth Corder.
