Lance S. Owens is an historian and a physician in clinical practice. He writes and lectures on Jungian psychology and Gnosticism. Since 1995 he has edited and maintained The Gnosis Archive, www.gnosis.org, a major resource for information on Gnosis, Gnosticism and Gnostic tradition. The Gnosis Archive hosts the largest on-line collection of ancient Gnostic texts and related documents. He has published several works on C. G. Jung and his "Red Book: Liber Novus".
