Tracking American News...

Okay, so the news media was out in front of the hurricane storys and they are all falling over themselves as Brownie takes a dive off the deep end from the White House pool while keeping a $140 thousand dollar a year "consultancy". And then those dicey comments from Barbara Bush totally lacking compassion. We're told that the New Orleans disaster was long foretold. But back to the media. Video in real time vs. the storys within people's lives. Who's to blame: the media?, the politicos? or personal responsibility? Hasn't the media given all the politicos a free pass in an era of soft news coverage? And those folks on FOX with all their attack energy directed at people, not problems. Did you follow the snickering in the foreign press about America's Great Racial Divide? Opps, sorry, maybe it's really America's Great Leadership Incompetence. Cause visiting the local Wal Mart, see lotsa tension among the Americans working and shoping there? Back to video in real time: Truckloads of stuff pouring into the Gulf Coast. Volunteers and soldiers and Coasties, and policemen and policewomen. Looks like in these times of sorrow Americans are stepping up to the plate. Even tho we'll all remember that first Air Force One flyby over the devastation. Had it been Austin, would the President have stopped to console the locals? To "learn how the different branches of government work?" Oh, Clara Barton, America truly needs you now.
