TIML Radio (UK) is owned by TIML Golden Square Ltd (TIML), a wholly owned subsidiary of Times Infotainment Media Limited, part of the The Times Group and a subsidiary of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd..

History[edit]

TIML recently acquired Virgin Radio Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries including the radio station and the related business assets in a sale by SMG plc of Virgin Radio for £53.2 million [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] in May 2008. Virgin Radio will continue in its present form until Autumn 2008. During this period, TIML will develop a new music and entertainment brand and invest in excess of £15m developing and launching it as part of TIML Radio (UK) [7].
