Soundpond is an online radio company based in Adelaide, South Australia. www.soundpond.net provides an A/V stream of live DJ's 7 days a week. It is considered to be the first company of its type in Australia, and although the concept is quite new, it has captured as many as 1500 unique viewers in one night. Soundpond is unique in Australia, if not the World, as being the first commercial radio station to also offer a video broadcast and allowing the viewers to interact live with the DJ's via a chat room.

Licensing[edit]
After substantial talks and negotiations with APRA-AMCOS, Soundpond was granted a custom audio/visual streaming license.
Monday Night Jams[edit]
Various monday night jams are held. DJ's from all genres and venues want to have a spin, come chill out. These were garage days. 3 car shed's turned into chillout pads and temporary nightclubs. People coming together on monday nights. These were discovery days. Everyone rediscovering the passion for the music, and/or the love of entertaining. Not heads through the door. These few months were evolving. The word was spreading. It was not yet a business, much less a station.
