The Old Showfield (also known as Cheese Field) is the largest public open space in Frome, Somerset. It is bounded by Frome Community Hospital to the northwest and Selwood Academy to the southeast, while the southwest corner is made up of Rodden Road and Berkeley Road. The north and east sides are surrounded by housing estates. The open space features a cricket ground, which is home to Frome Cricket Club and hosted Somerset County Cricket Club between 1935 and 1970, a football pitch, and a children's playing area. Since late 2019, it has hosted a weekly 5-kilometre (3.1 mi) parkrun.

It was originally purchased by the Frome Agricultural Society in the 1920s to provide a larger site for its annual show, which was hosted at the showfield until it moved in April 1999 to West Woodlands Showground just outside Frome. Part of the showfield was sold off in 2006 to provide land for the hospital. The open space has been underging redevelopment by Frome Town Council since 2015.

Agricultural Showgrounds is a cricket ground in Frome, Somerset. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1882, when Frome played United Eleven.[1] In 1932, Somerset played Northamptonshire in the County Championship, in what was the grounds first first-class match. From 1932 to 1961, the ground played host to 18 first-class matches, with the final first-class match held at the ground between Somerset and Hampshire.[2]

The ground also hosted a single List-A match in 1970, which was between Somerset and Leicestershire in the 1970 John Player League.[3]

In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Frome Cricket Club[6] who play in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier League.
