Let's talk about single-instance storage and set the record straight about who invented it. Jcantanixon removed my corrections and I reinstated them. Why this individual chose to do so without speaking with me first suggests that he's just a random hacker who wants to make trouble.


Multiple people have now agreed and removed your comment. The patent you reference doesn't refer to single-instance storage a single time. It appears to be a seperate form of deduplication (there are many implementations and yours appears to apply specifically to networks). You should consider starting a seperate article that references your technology and then you could add that article to the see also section of deduplication so that people could see similar technologies.
