Former Big Iron Guy (a.k.a FBIG) is a semi-retired Information Technology and Business Administration professional.

FBIG is a community participant and activist in many areas, with Wikipedia/Wikimedia being a small subset of them.

¿Where?[edit]

In the middle of the United States of America, FBIG is known to pontificate and to participate.

¿When?[edit]

The Former Big Iron Guy gets online more often than is probably needed or necessary. That being said, puts the Wikimedia editor/contributor hat on seldom, but usually with some compelling reason.

¿Why?[edit]

FBIG sometimes has something to say that may be of value. Most often, is the devil's advocate in situations, conversations, forums and blogs where others fail to see the obvious. Additionally, FBIG likes weird things like ¿special characters? and suchlike. Lastly, Former Big Iron Guy would tell you if the reason was knowable.
