Michel'le Marie Wilson(born June 30th 1990) is an American r&b and hip-hop vocalist better known by her stage name Chel'le. Raised in Los Angeles, Ca. In 2012 she made an appearance on American Idol. She also competed in the reality television show, The Voice (U.S. TV series). Shortly after she was signed as a songwriter to Universal Music Group. In 2015 she made an appearance on The Kelly Rowland Show.

She released her first four song EP entitled, "All Me," in late 2015, working with producers Hit-Boy , and Troy Taylor. In 2016 she released her second EP entitled "Straight To The Point". Produced by a production team under Rodney Darkchild Jerkins called The Track Burnaz. She also worked with influential artists and songwriters such as; Mario Winans , Diane Warren , Dizzy Wright, Lil' Flip, Audio Push, Lil Mama, Tech N9ne, Big K.R.I.T., and many others. She collaborated with Dizzy Wright [1], appearing as a feature on "The Perspective", "Higher Learning", "Accept My Flaws", "God Bless America", and more. Apart from reality television, she also appeared on the FX (TV channel) television series Sons of Anarchy,

Early Life[edit]

Chel'le has described her nationality as Cuban, Native american , Italian, and African-American. Her mother is of Cuban and Native american decent. Her father Italian and African-american.She was raised by her mother and step father in Cleveland, Ohio until she was 12. Chel'le attended the school of the Arts in Solon. She spent a lot of her time studying vocalist such as Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aaliyah, and Monica (singer). When her mother divorced her husband due to physical abuse, she relocated to Los Angeles, California.
