Ted Andrew Fisher[edit]
This is a stub pending my spending the time to put some more information and better formatting and references here
Ted Fisher is currently a Computer Science undergraduate at The University of Colorado at Boulder at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. His interests include science, particularly evolution, biology, the Origin of Life, and the physical sciences (particularly physics, and astronomy). His is also a long time rock climber, mountain biker, and skier. He sees the digital computer as a vital tool to help advance our understanding of all things, and as a precursor to strong artificial intelligences which will exceed our own and herald a new stage in evolution.
He worked at LASP variously throughout 2000-2002 on SNOE and on CHAMP, then was a founding partner of Firestar Engineering, LLC where he worked for four years (2002-2006) primarily as Lead Software Engineer for the company before resigning on less than good terms due to various management disputes that will not be discussed here. So it goes.
