I am a Desert Storm veteran (USMC) and an Operation Iraqi Freedom II veteran (Oregon Army National Guard). I graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in Psychology and Philosophy. I work to help veterans transition from combat into more productive, happier, fulfilling lives. I also work with veteran domestic violence (DV) batterers in helping to change their behavior. I am also interested in the interplay of ideas surrounding gender, sex, identity, violence, hostility, love, and the variety of schemas and scripts involved therein.

I also have a cat that demands constant attention.
