Graduated in Journalism (Unisantos, 2002) and technical Tourist Guide Course (ABL Associados, 1998).

Fluent speaker of English, Portuguese, German, Italian. Intermediate fluency in Russian and Mandarin Chinese. Mainly learned through autodidactic studies. TOEFL score 263 (90%). Experience studying German in Germany. Travelling and living experience throughout Europe, especially Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Baltic States, Poland and Russia.

Experienced in teaching and translating the languages above. More then 7 years as a teacher of English and German, plus one year Chinese for beginners.

Initiated Graduate studies (Mestrado, incomplete) in Linguistics at USP.

I have a deep passion for knowledge, always researching and learning just for the pleasure of it, in many fields, especially history, comparative religions, linguistics, especially transportaion infrastructure, physics, space exploration, biology and the Creation vs. Evolution “controversy”.

Experience of four years (1999-2003) at Santos´s Official Tourism Bureau (Secretaria de Turismo) as a tourist receptionist and tourist information office manager. Three years as assistant in their Press Communication department (Assessoria de Imprensa).

Experience as a receptive Tour Guide, four summer seasons (since 2002) receiving Cruise Ship passengers arriving at the port of Santos, plus several other free-lance city tour jobs. My main tasks as a tour guide was to show Santos and occasionally São Paulo´s beautiful historical heritage and vibrant economies through their historical centers and modern commercial districts, always presenting plenty of context and information.

Currently employed (since June 2005) at Boston Agrex Inc., an American-based trading company mainly dealing with the export of South American meat to Russian, South African, Chinese and Caribbean markets.
