John Conroe is an American novelist. He is best known for his Demon Accords novels. He is also known for the "Zone War" novels.
Early life and family[edit]
Raised in Saint Lawrence County, New York,[1] Conroe studied economics and management science where he initially worked in the banking and finance sector[2] for Adirondack Trust Company.[3] He then decided to enter banking but eventually left to write full-time. During his time in banking, he met his future wife when he gave her a car loan. Conroe now resides in Maine.[4]
