Suzy Kassem (born 1 December 1975) is an American poet and activist.

Biography[edit]

Suzy Kassem was born in Toledo, Ohio on 1 December 1975 to Egyptian parents.[1]

Writings from Kassem's book Rise Up and Salute the Sun have been quoted and referenced in contexts as diverse as scholarly works on diplomacy[2] and Nigerian politics.[3]
