I enjoy various forms of extreme and experimental music, especially ambient black metal. The unorthodox intrigues me, and the most discomforting, hideous forms of expression tend to hold the greatest authenticity and conceal the greatest beauty—as much as that may sound like a middle school poet’s motto.

While there are too many to name, some of my favorite projects/bands in particular would have to be Paysage d’Hiver, Darkspace, Arkhtinn, Trist (the German ambient black metal project), Mare Cognitum, The Ruins of Beverast, Gnaw Their Tongues, Utarm, Reverorum ib Malacht, etc.; as such, I’d like to keep their articles clean (and perhaps create one for those that lack one).

I’m also interested in literature, e.g. Blood Meridian and American Psycho.
