Alexis Seiler is a vocalist born in Kendall, Florida but raised in Jupiter, Florida.

Musical Background[edit]

At nine months old, Alexis Seiler began to hum along to children's TV shows, primarily Barney. By the age of eight, she was singing the "National Anthem" at local baseball stadiums, Moroso racetrack, the Wellington Polo Club, and weddings in the area. Eventually, her mother drove her around Palm Beach County to several churches to sing as a guest, exposing her to more gospel and r&b styles that would influence her current sound. Then, at age ten, she auditioned and attended Bak Middle School of the Arts, majoring in Voice, which marked as the beginning of her classical training and her experience in choral-styled singing. During this time, she also began to dabble in alternative music and began to lean towards that genre. She then went on to audition for and attend Dreyfoos School of the Arts, also for Voice, where she began to explore the jazz genre. During that time in high school, she was awarded a full ride to attend Berklee's Five Week Summer Program, where she strongly developed into a better artist and was also awarded a generous scholarship to attend the college full time in the Fall of 2013. In the meantime, she began to look into a new genre: Rap. She joined a rap group her senior year called The Dookie Crew, but unfortunately they had to disperse due to the fact that they were all parting after graduation. Alexis also had to focus on getting the rest of the money for Berklee. After a year of financial hardships and emotional trauma, she was finally able to attend Berklee College of Music, where she continues to grow as a musician and network with her peers. While her principle has been focusing on her vocal technique in r&b/soul, indie/alternative, and dream pop, she has jumped back into the rap genre and is aiming to incorporate her rap into her sound.
