Branka Stanić was born as Branka Otasevic in Niksic, Montenegro in May 1985. She is a theatre and movie actress, known for Iskra (2017), The Books of Knjige: Slucajevi Pravde (2017) and Ace of Spades (2012)[1]. She is a mother of twins, Luka and Vuk.
She starred in the movie Dječaci iz Ulice Marksa i Engelsa (The Kids from the Marx and Engels Street), a 2014 Montenegrin drama directed by Nikola Vukčević.
Stanic has received several regional and Montenegrin theatre awards, including Award for best female role (2016), for the role of Kosara in the play Sveti i prokleti at Gulini dani, and Charter for Best Foreign Actor (2014), for the role of Lela in the film Dječaci iz ulice Marksa i Engelsa, at Filmski susreti in Nis, Serbia.

She was also won Grand Prix for best female supporting role for the interpretation of Rajna in the play “Urnebesna tragedija”, at the 12th International Festival of Actor in Niksic, Montenegro (2015), Award for best female supporting role, for the poetic and painfully true approach to building Lela’s character in the film Dječaci iz ulice Marksa i Engelsa, at the 39th International Festival of Actor "Mojkovacka filmska jesen", in Mojkovac, Montenegro (2014), and Special Prize of the Jury for the interpretation of Anica in the play „Lasice“ of the Montenegrin National Theatre, at the 10th International Festival of Actor in Niksic, Montenegro (2011).
