Hello from Barbara (WVS)[edit]

Alainetay, Hello from Barbara (WVS)!

This note from me is on your user page. Wiki-etique guidelines frown upon another user (me) editing another user's User page (yours). But since I am very interested in helping with your learning to add material to articles, I thought this would be appropriate. I also thought you might like this copyright free photo.

Suggested funtime: So...practice deleting this message. And then restore it. practice deleting the image and then restore it. Deleting is easy. Restoring is important if you write or want to 'watch' and maintain an article.

To restore content that was deleted from an article, open the history tab at the top of the article page. You will then see an editing history. The last edit to the article is listed first and you should see the higlighted word 'Undo'. If you want to reverse/revert that particular edit then select 'undo', then in the edit summary box at the bottom of the editing window, revert-then a short reason. Practice on this user page of yours because eventually you will want to remove all this content since your user page is about you and not training. Next time we do some training, we can set up a practice page and a handy page of 'how to reference things' boiler plate that you will find very useful. Best Regards,

Conflict of interest[edit]

I'm an archivist at the University of Pittsburgh, and I'm currently in the process of learning how to edit Wikipedia through interaction with a more experienced Wikipedia editor. Alainetay (talk) 14:51, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
