Possible Topics

“Ride or Die Chick” There is no article about this on wikipedia but I remember one of our readings (or a wiki article) mentioning the phrase and thought it would be an interesting thing to research and add to wiki. I know there are quite a few hip hop songs about the subject so creating a page on its history/use might be helpful. Plus it is a gendered concept so it is relevant to this class. I am a little worried I will not be able to find enough scholarly work on it but I searched around a bit and found mentions of it (within hip hop) on the some databases (Sage Journal, Pro Quest Social Science, Project Muse, Jstor) and thought you (professor) might know other places to look
