The International Journal of Climatology is a publication produced by the Royal Meteorological Society. There are 15 issues a year.

Perhaps the most famous publication of the IJC was Kaser, et al. (2004): "Modern glacier retreat on Kilimanjaro as evidence of climate change: Observations and facts." [1] This was by far the most complete study of glacial retreat on Kilimanjaro. Critics of global warming (notably Michael Crichton, in his novel State of Fear) were quick to use this study to discredit the theory of global warming.
