Template talk:Wrongsummary2

This template is part Wikipedia:TestTemplates/old grid which are "retained for historical interest". That by itself is a good reason to deny the T3, but that historical tag is actually incorrect as to many of the templates included. Some of us still use the "old templates", rendering them not historical. They are often not the same as the uw-templates, both in text and feel without the warning icons. Also critical is that many of the uw-series templates were misappropriated, their text having been copied from the old test templates without any copyright attribution. In any event, as a normally substituted template, there is no way to check whether this template remains "employed in any useful fashion," so it does not meet WP:CSD#T3.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 13:39, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As CSD nominator, I will leave this up to the deleting admin to decide. "uw-" series templates are the standardised and generally agreed-on (well, supposedly) templates for user warnings. In this case, the old TestTemplate {{wrongsummary}} was moved to {{uw-wrongsummary}}, so no attribution was lost. — This, that, and the other (talk) 23:47, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
