Semi-protected edit request on 13 February 2018[edit]

Change it from "This user has a native-like understanding of the International Phonetic Alphabet." to "ðɪs juzər hæz ə neɪdɪv-laɪk ʌndərstændɪŋ ʌv ði ɪntərnæʃənəl fənɛdɪk ælfəbɛt." (or whatever transcription works best) in the style of all the other Babbel boxes. GenericUsername2000 (talk) 12:51, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit semi-protected}} template. This type of request is more than can be responded to in an edit request as it requires discussion among concerned users. Please start a separate discussion so that the level of consensus for this change can be assessed. Thank you. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 17:13, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with GenericUsername2000, and if we had to decide on one transcription, our diaphonemic system would be the most obvious and neutral choice (but perhaps sans stress), but a problem arises when trying to alter {{User ipa-3}}: should it be ədvɑːnst or ədvænst?
