Pricing[edit]

Would it be at all possible to add pricing information to this timeline somehow? Also, the special edition iPods could be added if it wasn't too complicated. PaulC/T+ 21:56, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Improved timeline[edit]

I have created a new iPod timeline (Template:iPod timeline) and propose that it is used in place of this one. Any thoughts?

I kinda like it, though I'm sure others would disagree...make the bars separate colors though, so that it's clear that each row is a discrete product; otherwise you need to read the text at the left to realize it's a timeline.Lalala666 23:59, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

iPhone?[edit]

Should the iPhone be included? --Semicolons (talk) 11:20, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Headache[edit]

Can this get less similar colors? The various shades of purple not only make my eyes hurt, but even with my young and great vision, I can barely see the difference between some of the shades, if at all. We have billions of colors to choose from, and choose to use such similar variations of the same color? Not cool. DaRkAgE7[Talk] 10:28, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, this was supposed to go on Template:Timeline_of_full-size_iPod_models. This image isn't too bad, but more contrast certainly wouldn't hurt it. DaRkAgE7[Talk] 10:32, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Legend[edit]

So we have a dilemma now, when the next batch of iPods are released, there will be no space in the legend. Any suggestions? Butterfly0fdoom (talk) 05:09, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is it just me or the 4th gen nano colours in the legend and template don't match (and the 2nd gen touch). Guy0307 (talk) 08:38, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They match. It's just that because the shades aren't that different that in the timeline (since the colors are directly adjacent), it makes the color look different in the timeline than it does in the legend. Butterfly0fdoom (talk) 01:27, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Look at all of the colours since the September 9 event. They all turned grey, which although is consistent with the 'still produced' colour, it isn't with the individual generation's colour. Also a problem is that the Classic, Shuffle and Apple TV changed colour to grey even though there wasn't a new generation at the 9/9 event. Guy0307 (talk) 13:13, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's because those are all "still produced". Butterfly0fdoom (talk) 07:47, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But they shouldn't change colour at 9/9, they should when the gen was introduced! Guy0307 (talk) 11:27, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm starting to not understand what you're saying or your point. Butterfly0fdoom (talk) 20:44, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, now I get it. It changes grey tomorrow (or today), not at 9/9. I still don't like it. Guy0307 (talk) 05:06, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See also: Template:...?[edit]

It looks to me to be very ugly to have the "See also: Template:Timeline of full-size iPod models" line, since the net effect is to have explicit, visible links from the article space (after transclusion) to the template space. Wouldn't it be better to refactor this to use show/hide, or something along those lines? Alai (talk) 05:20, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help on another template[edit]

I was wondering if I could get some assistance. I have used this template to create Template:Timeline of Bose stereo speakers and I was wondering if I could get some assistance organizing this. Thanks. -- Phoenix (talk) 08:58, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I think I got it. -- Phoenix (talk) 11:39, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
