Hindi language redirects to Hindi, may be the template should be updated?--Jahilia (talk) 21:36, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not done The template links to Hindi as far as I can see. I think the coding in the templates forces it to have the "language" in front of it, because no links in the editable part of the template go to "Hindi language". PeterSymonds (talk) 23:04, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
{{editprotected}} (continuing the above request) True. But why does the coding do so? Can't it be changed? --Siddhant (talk) 19:27, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's something you'll need to take up at Template talk:LangWithName as it is not specific to this template. Hindi language redirects to Hindi anyway, and there is no need to fix redirects which are not broken! — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:33, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request, 13 November 2010[edit]

Please, add interwiki be-x-old:Шаблён:Мова-hi. --Vera.tetrix (talk) 13:40, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Link change[edit]

The link "Hindi language" should be replaced with "Standard Hindi".— Preceding unsigned comment added by Amit6 (talkcontribs) 12:33, January 23, 2011‎ (UTC)

Template-protected edit request on 23 August 2015[edit]

Should this template contain the Template:Pp-template like the other lang-x templates? Thanks, Ry's the Guy (talk|contribs) 11:08, 23 August 2015 (UTC) Ry's the Guy (talk|contribs) 11:08, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There's no need; Module:Protection banner is loaded by {{Documentation}} to display the padlock icon. Alakzi (talk) 11:13, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly include the parameters, links and lit as in {{Language with name|de|German|''{{{1}}}''|links={{{links|{{{link|yes}}}}}}|lit={{{lit|}}}}}. — harith (talk) 11:30, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request, 16 October 2015[edit]

Please replace the contents of this template with the contents of the sandbox, to which I have added |lit={{{lit|}}}, which adds an option to include a literal translation. This makes this template consistent with the template’s documentation following this proposal for the parameter's inclusion. Thank you, Ry's the Guy (talk|contribs) 09:21, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Already done by the request on 28 September. -- John of Reading (talk) 09:50, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops I missed that one. I did these a while ago and wasn't watching this template for changes. Thanks! Ry's the Guy (talk|contribs) 09:56, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request, 27 August 2016[edit]

Please replace the contents of this template with the contents of the sandbox (revision 736481016), which I have converted to use Template:Language with name and transliteration (like Template:Lang-pa and some others), allowing passing transliteration into the template, as well as the parameters User:Harithvh added back in September. Thanks! — OwenBlacker (Talk) 20:18, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
