Template talk:Italic title prefixed

Template:Italic title suffixed?

Why isn't there a Template:Italic title suffixed? I understand the same effect can be accomplished with DISPLAYTITLE, but if we have this template the other case might as well be handled by a special template too. –CWenger (^ • @) 16:15, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

Problems with long titles

I am wondering why the template does not seem to work on long titles like Russian submarine Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy (K-211) or Russian submarine Svyatoy Georgiy Pobedonosets (K-433). Is there a limit on the number of characters? Both article titles have more than 50. ÄDA - DÄP VA (talk) 09:03, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
