WP:MEETUP[edit]

I made this template to speed the invitation process which goes with projects posted on WP:MEETUP. Blue Rasberry (talk) 16:05, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The code looks good, and I have a couple suggestions. First would be to add an automated signature to the end of the message with something like ~~<includeonly>~~</includeonly>. Second, good documentation usually lists each parameter explicitly with definitions and perhaps examples. Instead of figuring out what 1, 2 and 3 do from the example, a bulleted list is usually implemented. Last thing, these types of messages should be subst'd, so I'd remove any wording from the documentation that says otherwise. Great job! — Bility (talk) 20:27, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
On second thought, the automated signature might not be the best idea, I'm not 100% sure on Wikipedia's stance on that. Here's a subst notification template though: {{subst only}}. — Bility (talk) 20:38, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added the substitution notice, removed suggestion that the template could be used without substitution, and put in a bulleted list explaining the parameters. Thank you a lot for your advice. When I look at these things sometimes I just cannot think of what is missing or unclear. Blue Rasberry (talk) 17:31, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
