Embedding voice files[edit]

A project I'm running, and a related event in mid-January will soon add around a thousand recordings of article subjects' voices to their biographies. I'd like to embed those in the relevant infoboxes, as in this example (using {{Infobox person}}). Can we add the necessary |module= parameter to this template? Yes please. Nobody except Johnbod would prefer an ugly separate box to an elegant integration within the infobox. It works well with {{infobox person}}, and it should be just as useful in this template. --RexxS (talk) 20:11, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"module" appears at the bottom of this template[edit]

Wrapper[edit]

Pigsonthewing, {{infobox presenter}} needs to be updated as there have been changes to {{infobox person}} including the deprecation of some parameters (e.g., residence, weight, home_town) and some renaming of parameters (even though the aliases still work). Also, {{infobox person}} reports this error in "Show preview" when |parents= is used (see, e.g., Tania Bryer):

Infobox person warning: Using more than one of the following parameters: parents, father

Using more than one of the following parameters: parents, mother

If |father= or |mother= are used instead of |parents=, there is no error displayed, but the parameter values are not displayed in the infobox.

Maint cats[edit]

The four sub-cats of Category:Pages using infobox presenter with unknown parameters are now all empty, so they can all be deleted and just the main category used in the future. Although, I'm not sure why |nationality= should be invalid since it is valid in infobox person and could be needed here as well. Jonesey95? MB 21:27, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
