iTunes[edit]

There has been some confusion over whether iTunes should be part of the template. My view is that iTunes is not part of the suite and should not be on the template. Yes, iTunes was developed concurrently and also begins with an "i". But Apple's website does not have a section for iTunes, and our iLife article notes how several applications were bundled together as iLife, while iTunes remained a free program. Also, iTunes is available on Windows, but the programs marketed as iLife are Mac only. It seems they are part of different business strategies. And if we include iTunes, why not include iCal, iChat, and iSync? Those programs are not part of the commercial suite marketed as iLife, just as iTunes is not.
