On what basis? Have you followed the other instructions on WP:MFD such as creating the appropriate entry at WP:MFD? Can you please format this request as a "can you please add foo to the top of this page as it has been nominated for deletion on [[Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Template:Editnotices/Page/List of German painters]].". I'm not so sure about that John, this is an editnotice, not just a standard template. I would think that MfD would be correct. Is there any precedence/consensus already established for edit notices? @Lugnuts: I still need to know exactly what you want me to apply to the top of the edit notice.
