Deletion date added to image caption code[edit]

I've added a bit of code to include the deletion date in the tag meant to be copied into image captions (for example, {{deletable image-caption|Monday, 1 June 2009}}). I tested it a little bit at User:Bkell/Deletable image test, User:Bkell/Di-replaceable fair use test, and User:Bkell/Sandbox, so I think it works properly. —Bkell (talk) 05:58, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image → File[edit]

{{editprotected}} Would someone be able to do the following things:

  • Change the wording from "This image or media" to "This file". This is easier than the "or" sentence and sounds nicer (FYI, Images and media for deletion has also been remaned to Files for deletion)
  • Move the template to "Deletable file", as .ogg and .pdf files might also use the template and the term "image" doesn't fit there.
  • Thank you. --The Evil IP address (talk) 11:14, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 22 August 2016[edit]

I am requesting here that the ''Administrators: {{{for administrators}}}'' be wrapped in <span class="sysop-show"></span> to hide the administrator instructions for non-admins. Pppery (talk) 02:04, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 9 January 2021[edit]

Help section appears to be "broken" (but still technically functional), which results in the same "error" cascaded to other templates. Specifically, the first parameter in the provided template is left blank, instead of being removed altogether if not supplied. This may not have been previously visible, as {{Tlx}} was recently updated; please see Special:PageHistory/Template:Template link expanded.

Here is the problematic part:

<small>Usage: {{tlx|{{{template<noinclude>|di-foo</noinclude>}}}|{{#if:{{{source|}}}|source={{{source}}}}} |date={{#time:j ...

Based on my testing, this appears to work (diff on sandbox):

<small>Usage: {{tlx|{{{template<noinclude>|di-foo</noinclude>}}}|{{#if:{{{source|}}}|source={{{source}}}{{!}}}}date={{#time:j ...

Please double-check though for possible errors before actually implementing the correction. Thanks. Ntx61 (talk) 16:48, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: I don't understand what the issue is, could you please clarify? Elliot321 (talk | contribs) 00:27, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Elliot321: The usage in the help has the pipe separator doubled instead of just one. I will be placing {{Di-orphaned fair use}} here as an example (which uses {{Deletable image}}, which in turn is redirected to {{Deletable file}}):
Other examples like {{Di-replaceable fair use}}:

@Elli:
Resending mention, I did not thought that it won't be sent due to the user not being found (as the user page was simply redirected). Ntx61 (talk) 04:29, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
