Resultant format[edit]

The resultant output of this template has the word 'Sparkford' from the Location field displayed as a wikilink. Following that link goes to the village entry for Sparkford. Whilst this is not actually wrong, it is confusing. There is nothing on the Sparkford page about the publishers, and someone following the link from a citation will learn nothing about the subject matter of the citation or the books referred to. Most citations do not link to places. I do not think it is helpful here. Links need to be helpful, not stamp-collecting.

I have my own view about the Location: Publisher name convention, preferring the English Publisher name (Location) convention, but that is for another place.

I suggest reverting the Location here not to be a wikiword.--Robert EA Harvey (talk) 14:52, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
